Holy shite. $1.33.
I've been watching WTRH a while and got in today. I think this is a great opportunity and Waitr wont go belly up.
Whether they re acquired at 3.75 or run up past that, it'll be profitable.
Question now is do i buy more?

Berger Montague Investigates Class Action Claims Against Waitr Holdings, Inc.
quote:
The Company was not on the verge of profitability because Defendants had artificially bolstered profits and revenues by unilaterally raising prices in breach of customer contracts and by failing to properly reimburse drivers for mileage expenses;
The 15% rate which Waitr charged its customers was not sustainable or profitable;
Waitr was not able to gain efficiencies from its full time fixed-rate labor force in order to justify charging less than its competitors;
Waitr's financial statements, SEC filings, and Sarbanes-Oxley certifications were not accurate or reliable;
Waitr's software provided little or no competitive advantages because of Waitr's inability to obtain sophisticated, high-level programmers and software engineers to develop the software necessary for Waitr to stay competitive;
and Waitr was not operating according to plan nor did it maintain an adequate system of internal controls in order to eliminate material conflicts of interest.

If after hours trading holds up, WTRH is going sub-$1 tomorrow morning. Yikes!

I expect it to take a significant hit today. If it gets to $0.75, I'm buying back in.

How much does Fertitta take a hit over this? People are throwing around he had $1 bil invested in WTRH but that was long ago right? I mean is it now down to $50 mil?

Well, he spent $305M buying Waitr, another $321M buying Bite Squad, then bought 1M shares (275k @ $1.437, 450k @ $1.429 and 275k @ $1.41). This is all just public knowledge.
What's interesting is the same day Tilman bought all those shares(Aug. 20th), Joseph Stough (now former President) also bought 45k shares. Stough "resigned" Sept 13th. 24 days after he spends $66k, he "stepped down"
Saying all of this, like I said, I'll buy more if it drops to a certain level. Tilman has too much money involved to lose his arse.
