Joined RH in August and we all know what happened today.

So moving forward what's the best platform? Webull seems to be having issues and won't let me create an account currently.

I want to know too. I feel like this has been asked but not so concisely maybe as this thread.

Fidelity is good to me but others have said they don't like it. I have zero issues with it.

I use Webull. It’s pretty easy so far, but I don’t know shite about stocks and this was my way to try to learn. I put a couple hundred dollars in to play around with.

I use Fidelity. I don't have a ton of experience with other platforms, but that's because Fidelity has been pretty solid.

Exactly why I joined Robinhood.

There is literally only reasons to get your money the FK off robin hood. You'd have to be a complete fkn moron after the last year of events in robin hood to be on that platform.

Etrade, fidelity, anyone but robin hood...there is no reason, none, no benefit, you are just at more risk than everyone else by being on robin hood.

I like Fidelity, it's nothing spectacular though

I find their charting and technicals lacking, and their "Active Trader Pro" software is garbage IMO.

I wish they would integrate with something like ToS or Trading View instead. Thats my biggest complaint, I use one application to analyze, and then I have to go to Fidelity to execute the trade. It's clunky

I agree with Uncle Stu. Fidelity is solid and treats me relatively well, but if you're into charting/technicals and active day trading, their tools suck.

Webull is a Chine subsidiary company - just FYI if that matters to you.

I’m selling my positions in Robin Hood and going elsewhere. Right after I hit long term capital gains tho

I'm a noob so considering when I bought in (August) would it make more sense to transfer rather than sell out?

If you already have a 401k with Fidelity through your employer is it wise to trade with them as well?

I just started looking at this board after all this AMC and GAmestop stock stuff went down. Now it has me interested.

That's why I trade with Fidelity, but its completely unrelated. It was the path of least resistance, as I already had a login and PW, so opening up a cash account/margin account was super easy.

But in hindsight, there is no +/- correlation between trading with a broker that you already have a 401K/IRA with and trading account.

Depends on your current gains. Robin does have a transfer fee of like $75 I believe.
