Pardon my ignorance, but if I live in Lafayette Parish, I do not have to do anything on my part for this Aug 16th extension? It’s automatically applied? I have about $10k in taxes I need to pay on short term capital gains from 2020, and I was waiting to June 15 with the previous extension.
