novice at best when it comes to investing. from what i can tell or remember, schwab can help me but there is a small fee associated? or i can do it on my own. i prefer the second option to potentially save on fees.

i'm 20 years away from retiring. i just moved a 401k over to them and roth ira. any funds that i should look at? i don't do any trades basically a set it and forget it type of person. i understand risk and like the plus side as we all do but want to temper it a good bit as well to not lose my tail especially in short term with covid crisis.

any help from those of you who use schwab. ty.

Schwab has great customer service, but a pretty shitty user interface that looks like it hasn't changed in ~15 years. If you're properly "investing" (i.e. buying for a lengthy period of time, not day trading) then I highly recommend them.

i have been pleased with my phone interactions with them so far. i don't know enough after user interfaces at other firms to compare to schwab. no day trading for me, just simply want to look at funds that have a good rate of return and slightly decrease my risk as i get closer to retirement.

I started with Schwab 1986 and have been happy with them, they have great customer service.Have Asset Management account,Roth’s for me and the wife and rollover IRA’s.
Also have a checking account with them.I haven’t traded much last few years,I’ve transitioned to about 50/50 stocks and cash.
