How long to get LA Tax Return Refund?

First time filing in this state in about 10 years. I remember it taking like 8 weeks in 2010 for electronic submission.
Service improved any or is this still a prolonged event.

I file a Mississippi return and they took my payments in less thatn ten minutes!

My acct. firm filed my LA & Fed returns electronically in early April, I opted for a check from LA (I overpaid ~$800) and still don’t have anything.

I wouldn’t go that far...it typically takes a month or so for me when I have a state refund.

Go to La Dept of Revenue , click on “Where’s my Refund” . Question answered.

I'm still waiting for my 2018 refund which I filed in October.
The call-in-service confirmed that they received the return on Nov 26 and said to wait 45 days for my return. It has been 229 days.
