HOME REMODEL - CCARD QUESTION

We are about to do a home remodel. Approx cost should be right under $50k. My plan is to play cash for everything. My question is if there is a credit card out there right now that I may be able to take advantage of points, cash back etc ? I would be charging the card, then immediately paying it off.

If you will get a significant discount paying cash think about what you are saving compared to what you will get points-wise. If you don't get any discount then I would get the CC bonuses with that type of spend. This is a good starting point.

you're 100% right... that's my first bargaining tool. if there are no cash discounts then i want to try and get something out of it
