Gigantic “Covid relief” bill coming up. Holy shite this is a redistributionist’s wet dream!

Just skim this. This is not just a relief bill. These are major, permanent changes to the tax structure. Basically a huge pay raise for a lot of people who already pay negative income tax. It’s flat out permanent wealth redistribution under the guise of a relief bill. Nothing temporary about it.
Enjoy the raise, those who will benefit.

Under current law, most taxpayers can reduce their federal income tax bill by up to $2,000 per child. In a significant change, the bill would increase the tax break to $3,000 for every child age 6 to 17 and $3,600 for every child under the age of 6. The legislation also calls for the payments to be delivered monthly instead of in a lump sum. If the secretary of the Treasury determines that isn’t feasible, then the payments are to be made as frequently as possible. Families would get the full credit regardless of how little they make in a year, leading to criticism that the changes would serve as a disincentive to work. Add in the $1,400 checks and other items in the proposal, and the legislation would reduce the number of children living in poverty by more than half, according to the Center on Poverty and Social Policy at Columbia University.

I honestly don’t see this any different than what any other administration does. It’s basically a tax reform for the child tax credit. Happens every administration. The stimulus payments have also occurred in the past during recessions.

It’s also only for the 2021 tax year.
Of course they’ll try to change that.

Devil Requests Stimulus Funds To Widen The Road To Hell To Meet Increased Demand
HELL—Satan, ruler of demons, upon hearing that stimulus funds are being given out freely to struggling individuals, businesses, and foreign countries, has sought to acquire some stimulus for himself. He realized that with these funds he could finally get around to expanding the path to Hell, and meet the rising demand.
“Does the bill truly say that stimulus funds cannot go towards Hell?” hissed the Devil. “I don’t see why that money can’t go to Hell! Besides, this road isn’t going to pave itself.”

In exchange for $2000 each, tax payers get to pay about $13,000 more in taxes or inflationary effects. However, bailing out the states with the worst policy failures at the expense of everyone else, will certainly buy some blue votes.

The whole thing is pretty comical. I love how they lowered the income limits, yet they're still spending $1.9 T. Not even a dent.

Black farmers get 120% debt relief.

We need to end all of this behavior. Taxpayers are a shrinking group. How can this kind of stuff continue?

So black farmers and ranchers are getting are 120% of their USDA government loans wiped clean(if I read the bill right). 100% of their loan balance plus an extra 20% for any associated taxes. Fricking brilliant. What a country.

Are white farmers getting any relief? On these "white farms", do they exclusively employ white farm-hands?
Also, on these black farms, are they producing exclusively for black people?

You say that like it matters. It doesn't. And won't ever again as long as liberals are in charge.
