Release of new Bronco on July 9...scratch that July 13, Mustang Mach-E shipping this year, release of redesigned F150 on June 25, electric F150 and van on the horizon, new inexpensive compact pickup plans, and increases in production.

Is this the turnaround for Ford?

A few leaked (possible) tidbits on the new bronco:

-Available 8 gear manual transmission; 6 speeds, reverse, and a “crawl” gear.
-Push button sway bar disconnect (for rock crawling)
-Push button locking front and rear diffs
-Removable hard and soft top options
-Two and four door options
-Several auxiliary toggles for light bars, accessories
-Turbocharged engine option (same engine as mustang)
-Knobs for controlling 2wd/4wd
-Trail cameras
-Huge touchscreen for optimal view of the trail
-This next one disappointed me at first, but now I actually prefer; Independent front suspension, looks to be bilstein. This with the sway bar disconnect will be highly capable off road and more stable on the highway (than a solid axle).

This thing looks to be seriously legit.

Since Toyota’s FJ isn’t currently being offered, the market is wide open for Ford and Jeep to compete.

Indeed it does, about on-par with Tesla Model Y. The new EV mustang will also be available internationally including China.

Ford (NYSE:F) is not having a good year.

Ravaged by the effects of the novel coronavirus pandemic, competition nipping at its heels, the Detroit automaker is in trouble. Shares in Ford have been on a downward slope for the past six years. Covid-19 escalated that to a dramatic plunge in F stock.

Since bottoming out in March, the company’s stock has been in recovery mode, but that was derailed this week when fears of a second Covid-19 wave spooked the market.

Now trading just above $6, Ford might look tempting. After all, this is a chance to invest in a storied American company for about one third of what it would have cost just six years ago. It has huge new releases waiting in the wings, most importantly an all-electric F-150 pickup. The company could emerge from the pandemic like a Phoenix.

F stock gets an F rating in my portfolio grader. Here’s why.

Doubt it, look at historical performance over the past decade. Can’t see why you’d put money in Ford over almost any thing else. Might recover but I don’t think the returns would beat the general s&p over the next 5 years.

Why didn’t he mention Ford production operating 3 shifts a day now? And, Ford and GM being back to pre-COVID level output?

On the other hand, it was on the internet...

I’m buying Ford. I think it’s undervalued vis a vis competitors and compared to F’s own numbers. I plan to buy it and XOM continuously across the next 18 months or so, because I think they’re values, though I expect to see some red before there’s any black (or green for Fidelity folks) on the sheet.

But for long term holds, at today’s price, I can’t leave Ford on the table.

There’s talk of a follow up Bronco Maverick, a Bronco truck to compete with the Gladiator. Future’s looking bright for Bronco

Don’t know if it sticks, but F is on an absolute tear premarket.

I love my Ford F150, so I am not some Ford hater but not a single car manufacturer has beaten the performance specs of the eight year old Tesla model S. It’s hard to believe that Ford really has a vehicle that will be competitive with the model Y, especially considering this is their first mass produced all electric vehicle.

Ford sales like 1 million F-150s a year, going to take a lot of Bronco sales to move the needle much on such a company.

If F-150 sales are down the stock will get hammered again.

There’s a lot of momentum going for Ford, could see a spike in stock price real soon.

What do you suppose is going to happen when Ford releases preorder info on the electric F150?
