Quick bump.

This is by far the best book I have ever read and it isn't even close. I highly, highly recommend this book if you're at all into self-improvement.

How Full is Your Bucket

It can be read in an afternoon and is a great book.

I can also recommend Coveys 7 Steps, Franklins Auto, and Carnegie's How to Win Friends.

With all of these rave reviews, I might have to pick up The 50th Law. It's been a while since I read a book ouside of work, but what the heck.

it's actually written by Robert Greene who is a known self-help type author with 50 cent. he basically go through 50 cents life and analyzes what he did at different junctions in his life to become successful, it's more about a mindset than anything else. It's a great book and I highly suggest reading. I need to read it again soon.

I thought people were joking. I may go grab it and check it out. I like non-conventional books.

“By a paradoxical law of human nature, trying to please people less will make them more likely in the long run to respect and treat you better.”
“Any titles, money, or privilege you inherit are actually hindrances. They delude you into believing you are owed respect.”
“Only your actions can prove your worth.”
“Your own level of excitement and self-belief will convince people that you know where you are going and should be followed.”

just a few fiddy quotes

no , it's bad arse, gives you tips on how to bob and weave to get what you want. I really use a lot of the stuff in there on a daily basis. Has tips to get people do what you want. You probably already are doing most of it already, since you are a fellow alpha male, but it makes you conscious of it so you can really use your powers.

i keep it around and read excerpts occasionally

it's fun to be able to get people to do what you want and then not even know you are manipulating them, it's an art form. I do it with woman they are the easiest.

You guys have tempted me to buy this book. Unfortunately it isn't Prime eligible . I'm getting hosed by my membership so far on my purchases this year.

Choose Yourself by James Altucher

i just finished this and it's a good read, I like books like this that encourage self promotion and worth. I took away several themes from this book and it re-enforced others

cheers!
