Is there an advantage to getting Dividend Stocks versus Growth Stocks in your Roth IRA?

For growth, I'd recommend a growth mutual fund, etf, or index fund.
For dividends, go with proven winners like T, KO, SO, VZ, PG, but also try REITs like CIM and BDCs that are mentioned in THIS thread.
Also, IRM

It just depends how you want to manage your taxes in the future vs now, presuming the Roth IRA is one of many retirement vehicles you are using.

I focus on high paying dividends in my Roth.
Right now the dividend is about 5%, but I plan to switch some things out and raise that percentage.

What I like about having dividend stocks in my roth is the dividends don't count against the limit. I'm restricted to contributing 6K, but At&T pays an additional grand into my Roth yearly.
