Look, here's what they do, they buy in the early morning and then they flip it to Robin Hood types when the market opens and they make money. It's a game..

Exactly. Nothing new or groundbreaking here. Just more victims.

Pros pumping money giving a false sense of security to new investors. "Man this is easy".......then the hammer drops.

I guess I’ve learned a lesson because this is exactly what I did this morning. Thankfully only with $100

I’m no pro but it seems like early morning PM always has ramp ups. Slight falls heading into open and then morning dips. I’m assuming they just swoop in on the dips and then keep rinse and repeating.

I’m trading on robinhood and stick to companies I feel good with. Started when the market was at 18000 I’m up 30 plus percent and have no problem breaking even. I do think people all over push stocks ( Portnoys day trading) hoping his money will push stocks high for them to sell. I like it.

5% margin for RH vs 9.25% for first 25k at tda. Mathematically it makes some sense to use a little margin on RH, but for tda not so much.

TDA is free for all equity trades, and anyone trading on a margin who does not have years of experience in the markets is an idiot. I don’t want to jump to conclusions on something I don’t have experience with but this sounds similar to the credit card companies soliciting college students with charge accounts under the guise of “building credit”

Maybe, but you just asked “what advantages RH has that TDA doesn’t.” There are economists who say that 20-30% margin use (with rates below the average total stock market return) will historically produce better results. Notwithstanding the efficacy of margin use, you asked for a benefit and I listed the one that I’m aware of.

I agree that RH makes everything almost feel like a game. Its app is intuitive for younger people and it’s easy to forget that you’re risking real money.

It's called New Steal Wisdom. The 4th quarter is where the action really gets going with this.

that sounds like an opportunity for others far more experienced to make money off of the dumb/inexperienced. I would t call that an advantage for the average RH user, but again I don’t use it so I really don’t know

does RH require approval to trade options?

Agreed.

I'm not sure, but I do know that you have to "turn on" a setting for options. I've never experimented with any options.
