Im on salary + commission at the company I've been at for five years .

Not once have I received a commission report / statement of earnings explaining how my monthly commission check is reached. i've asked my boss over the past year for this .

We have a new controller , and I've sent a formal email requesting a report .

What other legal matter , if any , do I have ?

**We dont have official "HR" ** Just a director of personal for what its worth .

65 employee company , Gross ~14M / year .

I don't know if you can legally demand a copy of the report. But that is super, super, SUPER odd that you are not getting one.

Why are you still working there? How do you know if you are being paid fairly or not?

Do you know the terms of your commission? If you do, you should be able to figure this out if you keep good records.

I do know the terms , but it's broken into three separate categories , which is then broken into its own category . One of the categories , about 33% of my commission is out of my control .

There is a complicated calculator involved that I don't understand .

Basically I just want a report at the end of the month that explains how I was paid

How on earth have you worked at a company for 5 years and not got a commission statement? That's extremely strange.
Are your co-workers in the same boat and in the dark as well?

that is a bit odd. I just started at a new company and every month I get a compensation statement showing what I made if bonused. it is a larger company, but I would expect something like that no matter what if there was a possibility of commission.

I would get with a superior to get a breakdown of whats going on, you shouldn't be left in the dark on what you could potentially be making.

You know that new car your boss just got? He bought it with your commission money man. If you aren't getting a report, it's because you're being ripped off, 100% guaranteed

That's fricked up. I used to be Controller at a 55 employee company that grossed over $50M/year, and I would send every salesman a report for their monthly commission. If they didn't understand something or thought there was a mistake, my door was open for them to come in and discuss.
I would have been looking for a new job over 4 years ago if this has been going on for 5 years

I’ve been in sales for 22 yrs. We get sales / commission reports daily. How do they measure growth? If I don’t know how I’m getting paid I don’t work there.
