Title is pretty self-explanatory. What is a good resource to beging even the beginnings of learning to chart, let alone Bollinger bands and all the other crazy things I see thrown around. Thanks!

I found some good stuff on YT. Search for Introduction to stock charting or something. I would link something, but I need to go back to sleep

You really can find any instructional videos on there. I used to watch several just so it hit home, and you pick up new/different things in each one.

David Frost o/o @ My Strategic Forecast is truly one of a kind for technicals. His numbers each and every day for the SPY are spot on every single day.

You can even limit your search to the platform you use, like TD Ameritrade. They have videos on their site too

Not a video, but investopedia has a good document that provides a pretty good introduction to chart patterns LINK

I tried watching some of his videos last night and was lost pretty quickly. It's some complicated stuff.

Google or DuckDuckGo search Stock Wedge Patterns and select images. There’s a ton in there

Every time I try to look at a chart and see a pattern I zoom in and out and have no idea where to even begin. It's going to take some time and dedication.
