Biden in office. Do you transfer assets to bond/government funds?

I have a majority assets in essentially index funds and have been reaping these benefits as the Dow and Nasdaq have been rising.
However, with Biden in office, I expect a potential correction, etc.
If and when is it wise to reallocate funds to a much more cash holding funds?

I'm 50/50 stocks and bonds and have pondered going to only bonds. But I have no idea so just keeping it there for now.

Interest rates are at record lows and not going anywhere for probably close to his entire administration. We are printing money like its going out of style.

In no way, shape or form would I have my money in cash or FI.

Too many. People act like no money was made under Obama and Clinton.

What historical evidence leads you to this expectation?

The only thing I will say is that I wish I had more money to comfortably invest

The only cash I would have is the swear jar, and I would even contemplate investing that too

Biden will be a net positive for the market. However, we've run up 40% since the COVID bottom and are due a pullback.

Paranoia and panic simply because they don't like who go elected is my guess which is dumb.

Your candidate didn’t win the election? You should move your money into...shuffles cards...alchemy. The correct answer is alchemy.

If you make equity-cash *investment* decisions based on who holds the presidency, especially with a divided Senate, then you’re on your own.

I do expect that there will be pullbacks or corrections at some point. But that’s because there have always been, and always will be. Has nothing at all to do with Biden, Trump or Daffy Duck (although Daffy Duck claims to be a successful short seller).

I don’t know how old you are or what your planned retirement date might be. I don’t know what your asset or income mix might be. But for myself, I’m not changing my investment mix or portfolio allocation (especially not based on emotions or political whims), though I am paying close attention to my trading strategies. Two totally different things though. My options business is all about income production, not equity appreciation.

At some point we WILL have a 10-15% correction. It could be next week, it could be 5 months from now. It’s how markets work and its healthy. And this board will be filled with people who blame it on Biden.
