I read his post as looking for recommendations while providing some stocks he currently likes. I know there have been posts previously with recommended dividend stocks but I am always up for getting some new recommendations to look into.

I'd certainly remove XOM. I doubt the dividends have kept up with capital loss over the past 6 years.

I am skeptical of any O&G related stocks these days. KYN and XOM have and may continue to struggle against the ESG movement.

Ah, yes I forgot to include F in my list. I have some Ford and it does have a good dividend.

are you looking for high yield now or dividend growth? for example, T's yield is great for cash now, but it's likely not going to grow faster than inflation so i don't know if someone in their 20's or 30's should necessarily have a large allocation in it.

Why individual stocks? Buy a dividend focused ETF and get instant diversity.

What ETFs provide similar yields? Most dividend ETFs I have found are ~3% not the 4-7% that most of these stocks offer. These companies are relatively safe but of course not nearly as safe as most ETFs.

If you're looking solely for dividends and not necessarily capital appreciation, you might look at some BDCs. ARCC and HTGC have done well for me - both above 8% dividend.

KBWD AND YYY

8 and 9% respectively. Those aren’t the only dividend etfs that pay that. Look em up.
