Should we bump the CARA thread?
Posted on 9/2/21 at 2:17 pm to Paul Allen
If you'd like to talk about it knock yourself out!
I never bought in the 13s. Lack of funds...
But it has rebounded nicely.
The more I looked into it the more I realized they are actually quite far away from producing revenue.
I feel like their pipeline is a mile wide and an inch deep. AUPH being the polar opposite.
All that being said, there will be many opportunities to invest in CARA.

Overall market and XBI is killing momentum

I am about even on my Jan 22 $15 options. Trying to decide to sell or hold

Tough call. It's hard to see this thing dropping with all of the steady momentum. The chart is absolutely beautiful.

We still have a good 3 weeks left before I start to think we were just burning cash for fun with those acquisitions.
Tomorrow makes 3 weeks since acquisition and estimated 4-6 week timeline to find out.
My super worthless stayed at s holiday inn advice:
I'd take profits and then roll up not out so you get some money in pocket now but still are covered for the buyout.
You might even roll in and up around that target timeline so they're cheap as possible and you've taken as much as possible while the potential buyout is still much alive. Then lose or win you could go back out with leaps at a different price depending on what happens with stock.
Further disclaimer: don't take my options advice it could go very poorly. This is s super bullish play

What do you mean by this though?

Yeah the thought at the time was those acquisitions meant s deal might close in the next 4-6 weeks if they were a premerger acquisition requirement.
I'm just holding shares at the moment as well. But with the time invested here I'm pretty much always day dreaming of how to squeeze as much out of it as possible.

Would do leaps if I had the funds.

Going to hang onto those calls a little longer.

Tell me what y’all think…
Today’s chart and the 3 mo. chart points to one thing.
Institutions are loading.
Not many were willing to speculate before phase III, fda approval, or even before Q1. They wanted to see sales and Q2 provided.
Now they’ll eat up anything below $25 looking for a double, whether buyout or future sales they’ll get it next year.

I agree with the institution comment. The gains have been slow and steady foe the most part. The top might blow off if Q3 script numbers meet or exceed expectations.

Today was a strong day. Very nice progression over the last month. The prescription numbers are gradually improving as well. I wish I felt as good about the overall market

Bloomberg showing 11 new scripts! Monster week!
Up to 50 for Q3!!
Using numbers from Q1 and Q2 50 scripts for Q3 translates to about 15 million revenue!and there's still time left!
