This stock is overly frustrating as well as being volatile. I’ve moved on from it.

AUPH reported earnings of -$.18 per share today, missing expectations by 20%. How bad will this hurt them?

I feel like this conversation is had every earnings. Hitting earnings is hardly relevant at this stage, if I am understanding correctly. This is an R&D and intellectual property play, where they will balloon if they can get their lupus drug to market first. The drug has stayed on track from what I know.

Up today ... anything between 4.50 and 6.00 is acceptable at this point of trials ... I’m holding a big slice

Shouldn't much. Their big money maker is in Phase III. Not sure how they are supposed to be turning a profit right now.

No one expected them to turn a profit. They missed earnings meaning they lost more per share than what analysts thought they would.

But overall not a big deal, they've been pretty responsable with their cash.

Holding 4,000 shares. Pleased with the way the stock has held through earnings. I want to be there when payday comes.

I didn’t expect any kind of drop with earnings. Nothing unexpected happened.
Keep buying below $5.20

???

this is a poor value, poor-growth non-profitable company..
outside the pharm lotto players...who holds such things.

while the earnings snapshots and company guidances looks terrible... to be positive the resistance/support zones are well developed.

~5.6 looks like stronger resistance.. we'll see if it can get past or goes crashing back down.

with the relative low volume on such a cheap stock is pretty easy to play market maker here with even a moderate sized account.
(but i wouldnt call that manipulating)

that already happened. This is just one of those things that happens with a stock like AUPH. We've got some shorts covering, and we've got some fear of missing out, and all of this could have been sparked by a single large buyer on Friday.
Time will tell.

I just want to see if it can sustain mini sell offs today. We've got one right now from 6.35 to 6.20
Friday was huge, The first 90 minutes of today is huge, can this be sustained for the week?

quote:

During its first-quarter report, Aurinia announced plans to begin a study for an extremely rare kidney disorder, plus plans to develop voclosporin drops to treat dry eye syndrome. It seems odd that a drug that appears to limit kidney damage also has a shot as a treatment for an eye condition that affects more than 20 million Americans, but we could find out soon. Merck & Co.'s Animal Health unit licensed rights to develop voclosporin for dogs with dry eye, and Aurinia slated a head-to-head human study against Allergan's (NYSE:AGN) Restasis for this June.

quote:

Aurinia finished March with a healthy $159.1 million cash balance, which management thinks will see it through the planned filing of voclosporin's lupus application in early 2020 despite the increased clinical trial activity. Success against Restasis could send the stock soaring before phase 3 lupus results are even ready.

You must have shorted at $5.50
That's the only logical explanation.

I am so pissed with ADMP. I was hoping to have seen some gains by now and move it all into AUPH. Trying to get to 10,000 shares

Whether 100 or 100,000 enjoy an 11% gain in the stock market.
