It's supposed to be record earnings. I'd say $150 minimum, maybe $155.

Edit: Thank you for this thread. I meant to buy more this morning but forgot to and seeing your thread reminded me. I'm primed for the earnings report now.

Stock is kind of dead today I would of thought people would be buying in anticipation of the earnings tomorrow

I think the excitement from this past summer/fall has worn off but wait until the earnings tomorrow. I'm thinking (hoping) people start buying in again due to FOMO. Apple is a fantastic long term buy.

AAPL releases earnings after the close tomorrow. The stock volume is on par with their average.

I don't like that the stock is up 12% since last Tuesday.

Yea that does concern me short-term wise but I'm in Apple for the long term. Apple and Disney are my only long-term buy and holds (and buy some more).

I'm up so big on AAPL that I don't really worry about a particular quarter's earnings. I just worry that it's become such an outsized position in my portfolio.

My non-401k accounts swing in whichever direction it's moving most days. My average cost per share is $19.09 though.

They had a stock split 7-8 years or so and I put a decent chunk in it right afterwards. It's been by far my best investment. I have a number of stocks I've owned for equally as long or longer but none even come close.

Friend,

Due to your post, and the good history APPL and my account have had over the last 15 years, I submitted a large order midday today. I was actually getting a little bored of the speculation and irrational purchasing that has gripped the MB in recent days. APPL is due for a sharp rise soon, I believe, and the earnings will spur that climb. Time to invest in a company rather than a joke.

Yours,
TulaneLSU

Friend,

I hope an invitation to our Christmas caroling and hot chocolate gathering will be a sufficient commission. Perhaps there will be a special gift waiting for you there!

Gratefully,

Nice.
I sold apple in 1999 to go to Greece for a summer. Sold netflix in 2005 to finance a move to MT. Sold isrg in 2006 to close on a stupid property.

I hate myself.
