Yes I do this for those that accept it, and if there is no additional fee. I don't think my utility companies or mortgage accepts CC. Cable/Satellite/Cell do.

Not for the rewards points, but it's very convenient. Credit card for the bills and then one payment on the credit card at the end of the month.

I use cashback cards, mainly Discover and Capitol One Quicksilver, for most purchases plus DirecTv, newspaper, cell phone, etc.

I’ve made tens of thousands of dollars over the years in cashback; never paid a penny of interest and no annual fees. Discover lets you increase your take by buying gift cards at reduced rates. For example, $100 Lands End card for $90 cashback credits,

I ordered myself a $200 Lowe’s card and got the little lady a $100 Bed Bath card the other day. We tend to keep those around. It’s fun to buy shite at Lowe’s for free.

I had a relative making a big purchase of construction materials that he was going to pay for with a check. I paid with my card and took his check. Earned $60 right there.
