OP clearly doesn’t have 100% stock risk tolerance yet everyone is telling him his concerns are dumb by their comments and downvotes. Anyone who replied with concerns, also downvoted.
His concern was timing specific. That's the problem.
What he should be paying attention to is his allocation %, and if it's out of whack, that's when you rebalance. Not when you think the market is going down.

Same team, same team. Nobody said that, they just proceeded to wear the poor guy out. Nobody (including me) said "Gee, maybe the all time high would be a great time for you to rebalance".

My original comment was out of frustration that every time someone comes here with valid concerns this happens. I try to speak up - as someone else pointed out, I've been in this debate more than once.
