Looking to park money somewhere and just continue to add. I don't trust myself right now to try and pick "winners".
More looking along feedback if robo invest really worth long term play. I got 12% last year doing it but I think that may have underperformed the market for most people.

Nothing wrong with a Robo.
Several here will tell you how they got +20%, but your robo setup has you diversified into areas other than S&P and Nasdaq.
Diversification will work over time so don’t sweat a one year underperformance. If you don’t want to spend the time constantly adjusting, keep what you have until you feel more comfortable.

Keep the robo with an aggressive risk tolerance setting. absolutely nothing wrong with that. Those big investment banks know what they are doing.
EDIT: I just saw that chase's robo investing is .35% fee. There are other robo investment platforms that dont charge a fee for the investment account and service. the only fees you pay are any fees contained in whatever funds it purchases for you which you'd be paying with anyone you use.

For most novice investors it’s hard to go wrong with a Boglehead 3 fund approach (or some variation of it).

This is key. Listen to your advice.
I’d stick with what you’re doing and if you want to explore more aggressive investing, educate yourself a bit more with blogs and YouTube videos, and do some paper trading. Then you can practice your “strategy” and see if it’s working without risking actual funds. Then once you get more comfortable and do trust yourself a bit more, expand into actual higher risk investments.

Not trying to put a fine point on it, but I don’t think that he’s looking to trade. Sounds like he’s looking for longer term growth. ETFs and/or mutual funds are probably what he should stick to at this point, while avoiding individual equities for the time being. Going with the Chase (or any other) robo investor service is a personal decision. I wouldn’t use it, simply because the studies I’ve read show that they seldom beat broad market or index funds. So you’re paying extra points for something that underperforms in relative terms. But to each his own.
But if he was looking to learn some trading strategies, I’d agree with you about paper trading and back testing.

That's great!
Which platform do you use?

There’s a 99% chance the robo investor will do better than you.

I think we can all agree with this.. but the real question is, will the robo-investor do better than dumping it all into a mix of VTI, VNQ, etc or similar ?
