I used Lightstream for my boat purchase. Incredible boarding process. And yes its unsecured loan. I have boat title. Was way cheaper than boat loan rates.

This is the kind of thing that would have made me look at them funny for no reason. I’d be suspicious of them taking a month to get me the title if I didn’t know any better. Thanks for this and the rest of your post, it was very helpful.

heads up if you buy out of state they send it to a title company in your town. this threw me for a loop the first time.

I've found them to be pretty straight with how the post-sale process works. I ask plenty of questions about it to make sure I know what to expect and the timeline.
