May 7, 2013 the DJ Average closed over 15,000 points for the first time in its history.

It's up 60% since then.

What's the significance of this fact?

Nothing really.....

That guy back in 1999 told me The Dow would hit 36,000...

So if anything 60% in 5 years is simply not enough.

It was 19,827 on January 20, 2017.

It's 24,357 on May 7, 2018.

Is this because we have a businessman in the white house?

Nope.

It’s because hardworking people find smart ways to be entrepreneurs, technology and information systems are paving new reasons to turn cash flow, the overall economy is chugging along, etc...

But yea the tax cuts have been a tailwind.

This isn't the OT fool. I wasn't making a political statement, just pointing out a fact, the gains in only 15 months. You don't have to like it.

At 15 months,
Roosevelt was at +73%
Obama was at +38%
Ford was at +27%
Harding was +23%

... all better than trump.

Wasn't George W Bush a "business man"? At 15 months, he was at -9%.
Reagan was at -10%
