You're just going to have to get over the STTDB

Sorry, I'm not a huge fan of it myself, but the reality is that these are 18-22 year old kids. Try to think back to when you were in college and some of the stupid shite you did.
So many of you are complaining that the band played "Neck". Problem is, they didn't play neck at all. On top of that, this the 3rd game I've heard STTDB at a game this season. You can stop playing songs all you want, but the students will just adopt it to a new song. Only way to get rid of it is to play all piped in music. Then 90% of this board would bitch about how the piped in music is killing the Death Valley experience.

I could put up the argument that any parent who takes their child to a game (a conference game, at least) and is against Neck, probably shouldn't be bringing their child to the game in the first place. I'm not sure Tiger Stadium is all that family friendly in games like we saw Saturday.
Of course I'm not talking about all children, because at some point your child should be old enough to know that's not something they can repeat.

And has that bitching ever stopped the administration from doing what they consider to be appropriate or profitable?
Maybe you're right and STTDB will just usher in the 100% piped in music era. Students and millennials probably prefer that anyway.
