Pulled from the player profiles on the LSU website

Brennan

quote:

Only quarterback on the 2022 LSU roster with starting experience … Continues to develop as a player on the field as well as in the film room … Team leader who serves as a mentor to the younger players on the team … Gifted with a big arm and can make all the throws necessary to be able to win at the SEC … Can also run if needed

Daniels

quote:

Tremendous all-around quarterback who can make plays with his arm and feet … Outstanding at extended the play … Can make all the throws necessary to win in the SEC

Howard

quote:

Strong-armed quarterback with the ability to extend plays with his feet … One of the top quarterback prospects nationally for the Class of 2022

Nussmeier

quote:

Has the “it” factor … Vocal player on the field with a big arm and a lot of confidence … Has the ability to extend plays with his feet … Can make all the throws necessary to win in the SEC

It's obvious that Kelly writes these profiles and is letting it slip who the starter is.

Uh, Daniels has starting experience. Not just Brennan.

I can't see how it's not MB at first with Daniels sprinkled in. Would not be surprised to see all 3 in the first two weeks. I don't care who wins as long as it's the best guy we have.

I found that interesting as well. Brennan and Nuss are the only ones that mention intangibles also.

the "it" factor trumps all other abilities.

And a lot more of it.

Nuss isn't far behind from Brennan's level of experience in games.

They haven't even installed the entire offense yet.

The coaches don't even know who has the best command of the offense.

Meh…wasn’t in SEC, and with a completely different team. Negligible at best.

So, Brennan "can also run if needed"?
He couldn't run out of sight in a week...
If Brennan had any significant mobility, we are not gonna be here debating who the starting QB will be.

That's why I said I don't care who it is. However MB has the luxury of not having a full school schedule and has much more time to study and digest the play book... if he chooses to do so. That also helped another recent qb, Joey B. He had the the drive to do that. Does MB or is he fishing?

I think Nuss and definitely Daniels are better runners but it’s not like Myles has mettenberger legs out there

So do you have an argument or are you just trying to provoke one from others?

Either way, enjoy the downvote for a lack of context or original input.

Myles throws a great ball but does have slow feet in the pocket.

Nuss and daniels have a huge advantage in this area.

I don't know who will win the job but I've always believed nuss is clearly the future and also the most talented.

YES, he may have the "IT" but I would be more concerned about the "QUIT" Factor!! He QUIT on his TEAM BEFORE THE BOWL GAME LAST YEAR forcing a guy who had not played QB since High School to play because of his selfishness....NOOOO

There is no debate...Brennan will start...period.

Not to mention that he has a far higher ceiling and is far more talented relative to the other two QBs.

Which QB out of Brennan and Nuss transferred out at one point? Just sayin.

But I do think Brennan will be the starter
