I always thought it was leading with the crown and hitting the quarterback in the mouth.

Ya know, football.

I would like to see the owners of THIS site come out an call a spade a spade. Let's see if they will do it. That was clear cut targeting, but because it is Alabama, nothing happens.

Everyone who wants to see fair play needs to speak up.

Ridiculous.

After the last 10 years or so, I've come to believe that targeting is when one team, lets' say LSU, thinks that they're going to get a fair shake from the refs during a game with Alabama, or a game right before Alabama, only to get screwed by a bad call like tonight's penalty against White, or Peterson's non interception back in 2009.

The good news is that outside of the SECRant and Marcus Spears, the college football nation is taking notice tonight.

Me too.

But apparently it's when any player makes any kind of tackle and the officiating crew has a bias for penalizing or not penalizing said player.
