....have families and careers too. Wins and losses affect their longevity and bonuses. So, these kids are shitting not only on teammates and fans, but also on the very people who gave them this shot at "life changing" money.

It sucks and it's 100% wrong. These guys need to dig deep and find some committment to something other than their own reflection in the mirror...but, who cares about who got you there...it's a business decision and every man for himself...right?

"Go do it for your coach's salary" is a hell of a rallying cry.

Give me a fuggin break. Those coaches wouldn't have a job at all if not for the players. And those coaches make an obscene amount compared to an average person.

I hope you're trolling

These players have families as well. I’m happy players are skipping these cash grab bowl games. Hopefully, it will make college football come up with a more inclusive playoff system.

What does that have to do with O's longevity and bonuses? As if the unpaid labor hasn't gotten him enough money. Is Duke Riley gonna get a bonus from the Orgeron's this Christmas?

Yeah but some coach's kid might want to upgrade to the Ford Raptor so get out there and get him another 100K.

Good Lord...you idiots all act like LSU gave Greedy nothing and just used him like a little helpless pawn..even if your don't go in the 1st round, which he probably will, playing for LSU brings a diploma, a career and lifetime perks.
I am sure you are all great examples of loyalty to your kids and familues. Pathetic.
Whiners.

You are the person who suggested he should factor in whether his coach would miss out on a bonus.

I wonder if there was this much complaining when Shaq left early.

Yes.

This is amateur football at a school.

It's the minor leagues for the NFL.

The only bowl games that are not exhibition games are the Playoff games.

Yeah, the only difference is Shaq put up 36 points in an NCAA tournament game against Indiana instead of quitting on his team and making everything about him. He gave everything he had for the time he was here. That's one of the reasons he's so beloved by LSU fans to this day.

oh give me a break

sorry if i don't feel bad about these coaches who will just latch on to other staffs after their tenure at LSU.

it's part of the profession.

Did you feel so bad for the families of Johnny Jones and Les Miles? No. you know why? bc they were well compensated for their services.

Not an equal comparison. Shaq was playing in the tournament which is a natural progression from the regular season and still part of the road to a national championship. The fiesta bowl is a meaningless exhibition bowl. It is nothing more than an extra game for kids to play an extra game and for people to make money.

I sure did..its the rest of you selfish, self centered punks who think any behavior is OK as long as YOU get what YOU want..and that's what is wrong with this generation. Its all about ME. The rest of the world can frick itself.

You go as far as you can in this life, but you NEVER shite on those who gave you your start. NEVER. Words to live by.....snowflakes.

What about the coaches who promise players and the player’s parents the world then drop the team at anytime to follow the money?
