Y’all we are so lucky to have Kelly
Posted by LSUPilot07 on 10/29/22 at 10:21 pm1134
I wasn’t thrilled with the hire at first I admit but he’s exactly the stabilizing culture building guy we needed. O had no structure whatsoever. Kelly has a plan and it’s already working in a year we all thought would be an ugly one but we lead the west and I’m actually confident we can beat Bama. It won’t be easy but this team can do it. More importantly, kids parents will want their kid to go to a guy like Kelly who they think will properly coach them to be the best they can be.

I agree. Lincoln Riley would have been interesting though...

I’d rather have Riley’s brother as OC over Denbrock or Andrew Sowder than Riley himself. I think Kelly really threatens Saban. He can feel there is a changing of the guard in both the East and west divisions where Bama will no longer be the easy too dog on the street.

I mean just listen to his press conferences where he speaks so professionally and methodically but also with passion. 5 star coach there.

He’s been there, done that and got the t-shirt. Nothing will shock him. You can tell he’s a man that will never not be prepared. A true professional.

I like BK. I am very pleased it wasn't Tucker or Napier.

I really was one of the few who was actually pumped about the hire after like 2 days. At first I was disappointed it wasn't Riley.. But then I realized this kind of stability LSU NEEDS. We haven't had it since Saban. And Saban proved what talent can do with stability and discipline.
Also anyone who doesnt think the success Kelly had at ND wasn't incredibly impressive an idiot.. People don't realize just HOW BAD the previous 6 coaches were at ND. 6 coaches in 12 years!! Then Kelly comes in and completely turns it around and becomes ND's most winningest coach ever. With incredibly strict academics. He was incredible there and turned ND into a playoff threat and a team that always won the games they were supposed to. Sure they didn't have a ton of success vs the Bama's and OSU's of the world. But that came down to the massive difference in talent. Bama can get kids that couldn't dream of getting into ND
Kelly was the PERFECT hire. And I refuse to believe otherwise

Between “almost” getting Jimbo, Herman, Tucker, Lincoln, and Franklin… we are extremely lucky to have ended up with Kelly in the end. The future at LSU is very bright.

I think Denbrock has been very effective, it just took a while for Jayden to get comfortable but he’s hitting his stride at the right moment. The oline is starting to look like one of the best in the conference and Jayden now has plenty of time to navigate and read the defense. They are also giving him opportunity to leave and run. When Jayden is playing at his best he has to be one of the hardest qbs to defend. He has a great arm, accurate enough to make tight throws, strong enough to get it there in a hurry and he can run like a gazelle. He’s a much larger Bryce Young. I haven’t seen the pff grades for the line but I have to imagine they are playing at a high level.
