Sure he gets a chance. Doesn’t mean he gets it. I’m all for the competition, should make for some fun practices.

Idk. We will see. I would think that he is going to totally re evaluate every player we have and build the team the way he sees fit, which is just fine with me. I have faith in Johnson. Geaux tigers.

My understanding is that's what the 11 p.m. meeting at the coach's office was about and it was a pretty short conversation.
"Coach, all I really want is a shot to be a weekend starter."
"Seems like we have an opening. If you want to audition for it, done."

Absolutely and I think he will be a weekend starter next year along with Hilliard.

Absolutely. Will it work? Who knows. I know I saw that kid live pour his guts out on the Field vs Fla St in an extended outing. He’s got it in him. He just can’t be 95 mph or nothing. The new pitching coach will help with that

Absolutely. Think he would do well in that position if conditioned correctly. Excited to have him back.
