Has caubs said he personally heard/witnessed Miles call for the spike?
He believes that Les wanted them to spike the ball.

Even if you throw out the last play why did that stupid frick do the following?
-Wait til 9 seconds to call a time out.
-Do an onside kick in the 1st half.

Scoreboard still had LSU having one TO
yea, what was the deal with that?

He said basically that Les and the coaches never planned for the eventuality that Tolliver would catch the ball short of the end zone. They felt it was a longshot that he would even catch it and if he did it would more than likely be a TD.

please explain who miles was telling to spike the ball? tolliver?

by the way, radiation leaked at the 3 mile island plant. There is no way in Hell I would work there.

And when confronted with this last night, Caubs said he was behind Miles near the sidelines while Miles was calling for the spike
I see Cauble filming his own shite at every LSU home game, so I assume it is the same on AWAY games, which means his view was what we see on MSUTIGERs YouTube clip and that is from UNDER THE GOAL POSTS, not behind Miles near the sidelines

I'm back in the hotel now, you can interpret my video however you like. I was at the game, about 50 yards from the coaches. I don't know where you saw the game from.

I look at that video, seeing it live and on tape multiple times, knowing the situation and the timing and I don't see anything other than a spike motion.
If you do, then great.
I'm not trying to find multiple angles to support my theory. I just used common sense and vision, if it looks like a spike, it's a spike, unless of course he was getting an early start on some paper-rock-scissors game.
From Caubs

why wouldn't miles tell jj to spike it? jj was on his back during the catch. miles was looking at the area of the catch.

Yeah I remembered wrong, regardless he was closer than any of us and was there in person

Its clear that Miles is not in control.

Man, this is like the rant being on the radio with the crazy unknowledgeable non-football playing fans calling in. My I forgot how much of a slow country drawl people still have down there.

CrazyJoe (caller right now) is a complete moron. He wants to fire the special teams coach?
Posted on 11/22/09 at 8:15 pm to FearTheFish

I think this caller has it right...Les never thought...
