You’re right. Recruits who were leaning here for months were not at all influenced by the smear campaign and Alleva handling it in a way that made it look like he would be fired.

Everyone is an improvement over JJ. Wade appears to be on the right track, but not there yet.

you’re right. We haven’t been to the final four yet and this is his 3rd year already. Better do it soon or else especially considering the gold mine he walked into amirite?

It's not why they didn't come here, both were learning where they eventually signed before Alleva's decision.

Absolutely he’s got his faults like every coach.
He’s an outstanding coach. He’s not perfect as nobody else is either, but he’s pretty damn good.
It gets old reading the garbage some of you guys post just bc you don’t like the guy
It’s just sad bc you’re not gonna win. The guy is building a powerhouse here.
It seems safe to presume you’re a Jones fan more than an LSU fan lmao.
TSU is where he belongs. He could use your support there.
He’s an outstanding coach. He’s not perfect as nobody else is either, but he’s pretty damn good.

How about we start by not giving up 99 points to a team that lost 26 conference games in a row? Then we can talk NCAA tournament. Remind me how many games he has won in the tournament at LSU?

WW is a good coach so far. Great coaches don’t get caught with no BIGs and a short bench. Great coaches adjust schemes to team weaknesses...they don’t throw players under the bus and tell them to play better...maybe Bobby Knight did.. but Coach Knight had a few NCs to back him up.
We still have no BIGs in our current recruiting class. Solid guards and wings. No BIGs.
The PAC line defense is hard to learn and play.
I sit under the basket and against Kentucky we have 6’6” guys guarding 6’11” guys that is not going to work for long no matter how good you are at your rotations. We even had 6’4” Marlon Taylor on a 6’11” guy for awhile. Pretty bush league for WW to throw players under the bus for that.
Then we had one of our radio talking heads tell us that LSU was 10 for 24 on layups. Kentucky had 11 blocks. They altered a bunch of shots. Having played college ball. Slashing/driving to the goal and trying to finish at the basket over and around two 6’11” guys are not layups.. they probably look like layups on a shooting dot chart. Which was the talking heads who have never played think.
Anyway glad we beat South Carolina. Florida will be a big challenge on the road. Florida starts two 6’11” guys as well.

SEC Championship in year 2 after walking into a program that was playing a tuba player from the band just to have a tall guy says Coach Wade is pretty awesome.
He has 2 wins in the NCAAT so far and one in the NIT
