Would you watch a 30 for 30 on Cecil Collins?

I think that'd be a great one to do.

It would be like watching an old replay of "Cops"

I think 1/9/12 would be a more interesting topic.

Probably not enough there for the full 30 for 30 treatment, but perhaps worthy of one of their "shorts" programs.
I'd watch.
I'd watch.

Of course I would. I've watched horrible documentaries that looked like a third grader put them together. I'd probably watch anything about LSU football.

No. Ive never seen a more hyped up player off of 4 games. He had 4 good games against 3 scrubs and Auburn.

Collins was a farce who racked up ton of yards against shifty teams. An LSU legend after playing what? Four games?
Downvote away.

No thanks I'm trying to get that game out of mind but people want to bring it up every day. I do think they will do a Les Miles documentary at some point. His personality and relationship with LSU and the fanbase is too good to not do one. I hope it ends up being a redemption story after this year.

A better one would be Chris Jackson.

shite, they would get 10 minutes out of him growing up in Leesville next to Ft Polk, then his college career and multiple coaches and teammates to interview. NFL stint. Then the last 10 minutes could be about legal troubles and his path to rehabilitation.
I would watch even if he didn't go to LSU.

"What if I told you that the the 2011 bcs championship was actually played at halftime in LSU's locker room?"

People forget that he ran the then current All American (and future NFL journeyman with multiple Super Bowl rings) RB Kevin Faulk off to ride the pine before Collins broke his leg.
He didn't do that in four games against crappy teams. He did that by impressing the coaches more than Faulk could every day in practice.
The four games just validated what the staff saw every day in practice.
Collins was a full-on beast who wasted his talent.

I'd watch it. Hopefully he can get his life together and be a contributing member of society and share his story with young people on how "not" to waste the younger years of their lives.

Would be far too painful to watch

I think one should be done on Johnny Jones. "Welcome back, now get out of here."

How in the hell is a dude who played 13 years in the NFL on the same team considered a journeyman?

No, I would not watch it and I watch almost all of the 30 for 30 and E60 documentaries.
You know some college teams can actually have the 2 best RB's in the league, such as; Auburn (Ronnie Brown & Cadillac Williams) and also Arkansas (Darren McFadden & Felix Jones). I wouldn't say that 1 made the other ride the pine, but sure go ahead... Cecil was injury prone who had way too many inexcusable off the field problems.

Faulk was hurt. He didn't play at all in the two SEC games and he just got a few carries to work him back in against the rent-a-win before the Vandy game.
