Would you take 8-4 and an Outback Bowl appearance now?

No. 500 in the SEC. That would warm CEO's seat next season. Maybe.

Not sure what you mean by “take”, in that I have no control over anything. However I would not be in any way happy with that result

Doesn't matter if I'd take it or not.

That's what LSU will get, IMO.

Orgeron will get a pass for 9-3.

8-4 should get his seat very warm.

7-5 and he should be gone (but he won't).

10 regular season wins.

That is the expectation.

This year. Every year. This coach. Every coach.

I fricking refuse to move those goal posts. We should be an elite program. We have every advantage to be one on a consistent basis. I'm tired of excuses.

I agree, but the current LSU administration does not share those goals. That's how we ended up with a shrimp boat captain for a head coach and an offensive coordinator who's on Medicare.

I’d take it as a failure season because that’s what it would be.

Who cares about these BS Bowls? As a true fan you are suppose to enjoy every game and cheer for your team. For me it is the journey not the destination.

I only ask because I think this will be the likely result - L to ALA, UGA, and 1 other from someone left on the schedule (A&M, MSU) to go with our loss to Florida.

Literally every week we've had folks ask "what will it take to "get behind" O or "what else does O have to prove" to win your support?

My answer has always been that no one should even ask that question until O gets us to a NY6 bowl.

Maybe that still happens this year but I'm skeptical.

8-4 would be 1 win better than my preseason prediction.

I thought this years team would finish the regular season at 8-4.But I sure as hell wouldn't be happy about it. That kind of record was deemed a failure when the last coaching staff was here, and it should be deemed a failure with the current coaching staff.

I believe we have the players to compete with any program in college ball. it's up to the coaches to to get the best out of them week after week. My concern is o and his staff won't get it done.
