Would you extend Aranda at 3M/yr? Because he’s leveraging imo.

Leveraging against what? If he is leaving to be a HC at UNLV he is going to be taking a pay cut. It's not a money play.

UNLV’s checkbook doesn’t open wide enough to cover 2.5mil a year. If Aranda leaves it’s just because he really wants to be a head coach. If money is an issue he stays.

The Fertitas sold the UFC for 4 billion specifically to focus on making Vegas a football town. UNLVs new football facility (link) rivals most SEC teams, and thier name is on it.
If they want Aranda and he tells them 3, hes gonna get 3, itll take 10 seconds.
