Hilliard's thighs each had their own zip code.

If keiland's calves were combined with Hilliard's thighs we would absolutely beat Alabama!

Dalton, at 5'-7", could stand under a basket at the Field House, and dunk it with two hands.

Dalton was noted as one of the hardest RBs to tackle during his time in the league.

Yeah - he had some big arse thighs - and proportionally, Dalton was only about 5'7" (maybe 5'8") and weighed about 185 or 190 pounds in college. So, 28" thighs or whatever, in pads on the field was kind of ridiculous:

I ran into Dalton playing golf while he was a Saint. He was wearing gym shorts (It was at crappy City Park golf course in BR, of all places) and his thighs looked like the trunk of a large oak tree. And since he was short and had a low center of gravity, I could see how he would be hard to tackle. And he was a super nice dude, also....

Probably. Dalton's thighs were cartoonish.

I played basketball against him in 8th grade. At 6'2" he outjumped me to start the game. I never jumped center again.

not only that, he had great balance and vision in the hole. But yeah,he was a man to tackle at about 190. I remember one Saints game where Lott caught him near he sideline and Dalton was kind of deciding between going out or picking up another yard. Lott drove him under the bench.Ricky Jackson and Swilling(?) can't remember were mad.
Lott said they played cat and mouse as far as hitting each other. Dalton would bury his helmet in Lott's midsection and legs. Lott could not get low on him. Ole Dalton would shrug his pads and walk back to the huddle.
