Lots of folks on here keep mentioning Troy University's win last year over LSU. And most of these same people think Dave Aranda will be the next GOAT head coach at LSU. How many points did the defense give up? TOO MANY. How many points did Canada's great offense score? NOT ENOUGH. Yet Orgeron gets blamed for everything because he is the HC. The coordinators have responsibility for game planning and calling plays during the game so how about sharing the blame.
Orgeron will be a good HC, Ensminger will be a good OC, Aranda will be a good DC and LSU will have a heckava season this year. I say 10-2 at worst, maybe 11-1, and a major bowl VICTORY. Go TIGERS!

and if O loses 4 games with the easiest schedule in recent history how does he just lose 1 or 2 in 2018?

Here comes all the Negatigers. It's absolutely amazing how so many on here are ready to jump into every post to dump their negative crap. Just can't bear the thought that good things might be happening to this football team. Just want LSU and Orgeron to have a terrible season so they can say "I told you so."

this bullshite strawman needs to die.
bringing up actual facts about o isnt being negative. this is an anonymous message board. being right on here doesnt help someone's actual life,so no real lsu fan wants lsu to lose so they can be right about O. if O wins 10 games next year it doesnt erase the other 90% of his head coaching career.

Except in the game your discussing Orgeron admitting to changing Canada's game plan and limiting his offense.
He also went on to say later in the season "I'm the head coach. We're gonna do what I wanna do." I have no real issue with that, he's the boss. The only problem is that directly contradicts how he sold himself and as the head coach, he's gonna get the blame for losing to a Sun Belt team.

No, we don’t want LSU to have a terrible season. We are just realists, and saw four losses last year, with two of them being historic losses, and the worst recruiting class in 15 years, and a coach that’s never been successful as a HC on any level. Now we’ve added a guy with two failed tries as an OC, that has spent more time as a HS coach than an OC the last 20 years. So, give us a good reason to be optimistic about the direction of the program, because where I’m sitting it’s not looking pretty.
