Not necessarily. Nobody who would demand a high salary would come here. I’m thinking he’ll hire someone with a heavily incentive based contract.

Yeah, you’re looking at another John Brady hire here as a stop-gap through the probation years. Head coach from a small school/league or an assistant from a bigger league.

Who would take an incentive-based contract to coach a team with no NCAA starters on their squad? Also, no ability to get players in the portal because no one is coming here due to sanctions on post-season play??

Give the job to Mulkey with a nice raise, and tell her to hire two male young assistants that can recruit the NIL. We can't win anything for a few years anyway, so why pay another old coach an enormous amount of money to win nothing?
Kim knows as much basketball as any coach.
LSU can be the first to hire a woman as HC and get major kudos from the woke crowd. Save big time money for the NIL when we can compete, and be the darling of the woke community. LSU will be applauded across the board. Hope she will take the job!
