Wonder what Gonzaga thinks

Curious what Gonzaga thinks about their matchup with us? Do they like facing us or do they think they got screwed? Us traveling that far is definitely an advantage for them. Can’t image we have many fans travel there.

We had a really nice crowd in Corvallis for 2018 and duck fans couldn’t care less about baseball. I’m expecting a nice showing

Is CPM still coaching in these games? If so, do we think anyone is worried?

Well considering he has more Omaha experience and success than any of the coaches and players there...
Other teams don’t concern themselves with the other team’s coach. They are playing on the field against our team, not the coach.

Did a quick scan to see if there were any active Oregon baseball threads.
Didn’t find much, as expected, but I did see a “LSU is a tough draw” comment in the regional announcement thread

I think they feel like they got the easiest draw. Without blinders they know we're mediocre at best.

They probably give some respect for the conference we come from, but other than that our resume probably doesn’t impress them tbh. I’m sure they aren’t intimidated by the championships we won years ago.

They were probably playing games all season and didn’t see any of our games. They probably have no idea how good LSU is or isn’t. The teams that go out assuming they are playing a mediocre team are the ones who aren’t going to make it very far in the postseason.

I remember looking at the rankings a couple weeks ago thinking damn how LSU has fallen, Oregon and Gonzaga ranked in the Top 15 and LSU might not even make the tournament. Couple weeks later and we're in the same regional with them.
