I have seen some chatter on the Rant about the Women's Tennis team committing some serious violations and the NCAA was about to drop the hammer. Jacques Doucet posted this to Twitter yesterday

eh....not quite what some thought.

Well.

While there WAS some fire to the smoke, it was a fizzled match.

That "insider" has the credibility of DALSU.

BTW, why hasn't DALSU been banned for life?

I liked the 'Nunez was escaping this scandal when he left for UNM' angle to this theory

Lol.

Yeah, that was a feeble attempt to salvage some credibility.

There was some doom and gloom posted for sure. Glad to see that this is all that came of it.

Like any other news be it politics, local news gossip, etc., sensationalism sells. Everyone was jumping the gun on this a few weeks ago like we were paying women tennis players Cam Newton type money.

Glad this is nothing, really.

But didn't we lose a bunch of recruits over this or did many of our tennis players transfer?

We lost a ton of recruits

And holy shite did we get lucky They completely left out some of the violations that were documented and signed off on by former players

ETA: Pluse documented emails of other wrongdoings

Full disclosure now I am a former player who was privy to the knowledge of what was disclosed from former teammates and others around the program.

Say what you will but he accepted a job at a dead end program New Mexico? Do you think Nunez is going to turn UNM into a national powerhouse? He's not going to move anywhere from this job

Yeah I assumed shite was real when Weissman just randomly transformed. The girl who went pro was expected anyway.

Now let's get back to cheating

I will give full disclosure now that the case is closed

Like I said I am a former player

These are the facts:

Former teammates of mine have signed and sworn testimony to the NCAA they were paid to hit with recruits. NCAA violation

The kicker though, there was documented paper trail through emails that players let Nunez know about said illegal actions over two years ago.

Someone within the program alerted the NCAA that a recruits parents were paid to stay in bra. But no poet trail of this

So there you go. I thought the paper trail of lsu AD knowing of the allegations for two years and not doing anything would result in big sanctions. I was incorrect

Is is possible that Nunez was asked/forced out.

A. Having knowledge of alleged violations and not acting on said knowledge.

B. LSU may have gotten a lighter sentence because of this.

Everyone keeps giving me shite but it's pretty obvious Nunez was forced out as consolation

I just hope we get smarter with our cheating and winning. I liked where the Sell's had LSU going
