WKU looks like a very solid, well coached team that has no weakness. They came out of the gate with a win over SEC's Vanderbilt and look explosive right now as they play LA Tech. Nobody needs to be taking WKU lightly when LSU gets to play them. I'm a little nervous on this one.

Vandy gave that game away. They dominated the game but couldn't stop turning it over in the red zone. Looking explosive against la tech isn't what I'd call scary.

They are the only ones then and I look forward to seeing them in the playoffs.

If LSU is disinterested in the game which they maybe, they should still win by 24 plus. If we as fans have to worry about this game, and I'll leave it at that.

Watching WK game now and they look pretty good. I'd say well-coached is an accurate description. They pass often and break big runs. Of course, it could be LaTech's defense making them look good.

They should provide more of a challenge than Kentucky did last year, that's for sure.

I took a look at their schedule. Its a good possibility they could be undefeated when they roll into Tiger Stadium.

I frankly hope they are undefeated, because that would allow our coaches to convince the players that they are not a bad football team. At best, they will be the 9th most talented team LSU plays this year in the regular season.

Other than the McNeese game I think all of our opponents are of a higher standard skill wise and team play wise. McNeese is a good program, just not on the level of most any SEC team. But Eastern Michigan, Syracuse, Western Kentucky are all going to be solid opponents.

Ah yes the solid opponent Eastern Michigan. Who lost to old dominion last week and went 2-10 last year.

Don't forget that their QB led the nation in yards and has a lot of experience, he's a solid college QB.

Couple that with a slot on the schedule that produces often lackluster efforts (remember Towson), WKU could be an unexpected challenge.
