You’re not only using my exact argument then claiming you’re refuting it but you’re also adding things I never said.
First you said this
quote:

There’s no way of knowing how we’d have done with another QB. Daniels had a solid season but didn’t carry us to any wins on his own. When he was asked to do that we lost.
I then provided evidence as to why that post was factually incorrect. You then posted, and edited, this post, becuase you realized how objectively incorrect your argument was.
quote:

That’s a straw man, I didn’t say he never led us on a drive or important score, I said he hasn’t carried the team to victories on his own especially with his arm. When we’re at our best we’re using him in the running game and running the ball on early downs. When we’re at our worst we’re dropping him back 35-40 times and throwing on first down all the time.
I then responded to your first moronic post, pointing out how factually incorrect it was.

You change your argument by the post then claim other people and posters are being dishonest

Against A&M 32 runs 36 passes. JD 12 carries. We were down most of 4th by multiple scores so we passed more. JDs unwillingness to push the ball down against A&M hurt is against us and will continue as long as he stays inconsistent in that area. He pushed the ball down the field in those 3 great games but some reason he stopped the last 3.

Again dishonest, you didn’t point out any evidence to contradict what I said, you only enforced what I said because the data was in opposition to your statement and that was posted.

This is like talking to a brick wall. You posted something dumb (he hasn't carried us to wins). I responded to that post with statistics showing that was false. Then your argument changed to "well he didn't do it with his arm".

And I clarified by stating “with his arm” consistently after but like in all your arguments you leave out the parts that go against your narrative because you have no interest in being objectively honest.

His legs are an absolute threat. If he puts the passing together this offseason we are going to the 'ship in 2023.

I compared him to QBs that either won a championship, a Heisman or played for a championship but I hate him and think he sucks? You’re wrong, you’ve been wrong the entire thread.

Don't waste the time on this board. Brennan was they guy and for sure lock starter he quit and they sitted on him. Once Jayden became starter they shite on him alot of games even when he won. They wanted NUSS BUS he looked bad during some of the sparing playing time shite on him. They just haven't shite on Walker yet because he hasn't played. Lol

His legs only work when he is passing down field. When he's having processing trouble, it will be a nightmare as it was the last 3 games. Teams have very much caught on to this and the template to shut him down is there.

I'm not saying we would have won anything with a reckless Nuss. But acting like there isn't a huge problem with JD5 and throwing the ball isn't being truthful at all. When teams scheme for his running ability and don't have to cover as good, then his running ability isn't that great. Again.. he needs those throws to open up the run. No idea why he clammed up again and refused to throw the last 3 games. It's frustrating to say the least. You can see it in our head coach during the game as well. He has the tools and the talent, but something in his brain is seriously holding him back. I wish he could find it because the sky could be the limit if he would learn to trust what he has.

We ran the ball more than we threw it vs Florida. You guys are so quick to attack anyone who doesn’t claim JD is perfect in every way you don’t even bother to look at what’s being said.

Not sure what the averages are now but a week or two ago he was around 8ypc on called runs compared to 5 on scrambles. He’s very efficient within the structure of the running game but it’s hit or miss when he takes off on a called pass.

Daniels is still developing as a quarterback. Seriously, if Jalen Hurts can be and NFL QB, Daniels certainly can as well. Hurts could not hit the broadside of a barn in college.

He's at 4.7 yds per rushing attempt on ESPN & all 4 running backs that have played have more average yards per carry.
