Fans are what makes it worth it. Without fans, there’s no excitement.

You should check out "television." It's pretty cool.

It’s all about Tv revenue. They couldn’t care less about the fans. That goes for SEC, NFL, NBA, etc

Have you ever watched a closed game? I've watched some controlled scrimmages and closed soccer games. It's very weird, and there is wayyyyyy less emotion and activity. The broadcast will be completely different too. They won't just have a color commentator talking about away courtside. I guess maybe they'll move them into the pressbox

We can still follow from home though.

TV ratings for sports should go up?

The point is the fans make the games more enjoyable. It's not the same without a live audience.

LSU did catch a break getting to play in Oxford without fans. That takes away the hardest road trip of the year.

I get that players may have different energy levels without a crowd. But why do you enjoy the game on TV differently without a crowd there?

It would be like watching practice or watching a ball game in the rec. Just lame.

The television ratings will be the lowest they have ever been. March Madness attracts people who aren't really basketball fans, largely because of the excitement. Without fans, cheerleaders and bands, it's just like watching a boring closed scrimmage, which the majority of fans don't want to see.

Even a lot of people who are fans will find it boring and find something else to do.

Why are the players, support personnel and family forced to put their lives in danger?

If we are are going to freak the frick out, don’t half arse it. Shut it all down!!! Maybe only then will people realize just how utterly fricking absurd all of this is
