With the flip play in the 3rd, House Jefferson was cosmically redeemed.

It was in the drive that led to the missed FG toward the end of the 3rd.

7:04 in this video

It's wasn't a crucial play, nor did the drive score, but it just seemed like the exact, cosmic opposite of this, in so many ways.

After dropping a pass in the 1st, Jefferson lit himself on fire and caught several key passes. This one was yet another first down and extended a drive, the kind of thing he and LSU had done all year. When this happened, I was 100% sure LSU would win.

Jordan beat Bama twice. Will always choose to remember him for that clutch TD to seal the Bama win in 2010 rather than focus on that crappy offensive system they put him in . In other words, House Jefferson was way good before last night. This just makes House Jefferson even more golden in Tiger lore.

To be fair to Jordan, he was trying to make something happen with little to no change in play-calling that was failing.

Ricky redeemed House Jefferson. Justin was icing on the cake.

Props to the Jefferson family for staying with LSU after the heat Jordan took. Justin saved the best for last and cemented himself as an LSU WR legend.

Didn't he break that guys leg? Why don't you show the tackle?

You know...as much shite as I've given Jordan over the years for that...it really was just a miscommunication. Ware was looking, but looked away precisely when Jordan tossed it.

Still gut wrenching, but probably not worthy of all the shite he got from it.

Jordan got crap because he was forced into the QB spot by an idiot head coach. He had horrible football IQ and zero instinct but instead of being humble he was one of the most arrogant players I have seen. Completely split the team against Lee who was just competing.

Lee was the epitome of garbage. Terrible QB...yuck, don't make me remember.

I was just referencing the specific play. I'm not saying he was a great QB.

you have a horrible memory. Lee had a very good senior year, and a pretty good junior year too.

Jarrett's Lee's senior year stats:
104-167
62.3%
1306 yards
7.8 yards/attempt
14 TD
3 INT
152.0 Rating (best in the SEC)

So basically he hardly ever threw the ball.

Correct only played half the year. After Jordan got in trouble for being a dumb arse. Jordan's stats for UGA SEC title game 5-13 30 yards give or take. Awesome. I blame Les for all of it, but don't act like Jordan was "Miles" better than Lee.

Jordan wasn't "Miles" better than Lee. I'd call for the other one at halftime of every game.

did you even watch the 2011 season?

Lee basically only played in 8 games. He got pulled early in the Bama game and hardly ever saw the field after that.
