With Fulton possibly back, does our defense have a weakness?

I don't see one. We appear to be rock solid and at least two deep at every position. I'm predicting our defense to finish #1 in the SEC.

Weakness?
No

Areas for concern?
No

Areas to keep an eye on?
Yes defensive line since all have been injured at some point this fall in camp.

Fulton is still a question mark.

I mean personally I think he's about to go off and be amazing but until that happens he is still an unknown.

Safety and linebackers are top notch.

If the Dline is healthy they should be able to hang with anyone

Nose tackle potentially if Ed can't get right and we have to rely on only Fehoko and Shelvin

I thought there is a lot of hype around Fehoko?

i dont love our second 11 as much as you seem too but i legitimately believe that, if some things go well, this could be the best defense we've ever seen at LSU.

I really hope Fulton passes that drug test, for his sake, not just the team's. That kid doesn't deserve another let down.

We have a lot of good pass rushers, but not sure we have any elite ones. Nose tackle depth could be a concern if injuries happen.

Those are both relatively small though. This is absolutely loaded.

I know, right? I hope he didn't say "to hell with it" and start smoking a joint after the appeal failed.

With a secondary like we have, you need the front 7 to be run stop focused, so missing the elite pass rusher sucks but it's not a major issue. Nose depth could be improved as you said

You serious Clark.

K'Lavon Chaisson is going to be in the back field so much he'll have to pay property taxes.

I’m honestly not even sure if he will start. So no I don’t think we have a weakness. We are DBU, it was always laughable we may not be able to find 1 CB opposite the best in the country.

Of course that is tounge in cheek, I am thrilled to have him back but don’t think we would have seen a huge drop off.

We have at least one.

I think Stevens might actually emerge as one as well.

Wait ...what?

Safety is incredibly deep and Fulton solves the CB depth issue.

Greedy
Fulton
Alexander
Joseph
Vincent
Kirklin

All CBs

The weakness will be if the defense stays on the field all the time because the offense can't get a first down
