When is LSU going to hire Kevin Faulk? I pray Tommie Robinson finds a job in the nfl.

He already works for LSU.

The running back coach should be, first and foremost, a great recruiter. Next, he should be a knowledgeable football coach who can teach the skills and techniques for the position. Just because Faulk was a great running back doesn't mean he has those skills.

The rant: O needs to quit hiring his buddies that have years of experience coaching the game and recruiting at the college level.
Also the rant: O needs to hire X former player with very little coaching experience because I liked him when he played for the Tigers.
I don’t know which is right but do you guys not see the contradiction in these two statements.

You make good points, but it’s widely known that Kevin Faulk is a fantastic coach and would be a terrific recruiter. When the Patriots organization does their best to retain you, you are worth your salt.

Although I believe Faulk would make a great recruiter and coach; I'm not in favor of dumping Robinson simply because Auburn hired a former RB as their RB coach, and we should do the same.
I think (and HOPE) Faulk will eventually work his way up the ladder.. Filling vacancies that play to his strengths along the way.

Is this widely known? The Patriots held on to him as a player not as a coach.

this- how did Joe Dean and Jerry Stovall do for us?

I remember when Faulk retired. Belichick and the owner raved about Faulk and thought he would make a good coach.

Because he's a current coach and TR hates current coaches. Any new coach will always be better than current coaches. Until they become current coaches and then they too will be hated.

Stovall stepped in after Bo Rein died, with a staff he didn’t choose, a-hole. Stovall’s trip to the Orange Bowl, when Bowls meant something was pretty cool, along with physically dominating Alabama that year to the point that Bear Bryant first mention the possibility of retiring after that game. He did at the end of that season.
So you’re a dumbass.
So you’re a dumbass.

Cadillac has been coaching for a few years. Faulk hasn’t.

The Rant is "Pie in the Sky" and a joke!

I think many of you think the perfect coaching staff would be:
Kevin Mawae- Offensive Line
Bradie James- Linebackers
Wendell Davis- Wide Receivers
Kevin Faulk - Running Backs
Karl Dunbar-Defensive Line
Raymond - Defensive Backs

He was a coach before he came to LSU. What do you think hes been doing since retirement
