NOT STEVE ENSMINGER

How fricking dense can Alleva be if he oks this?

You have perfectly competent OC in Canada that wants to be here.

If there was a mutual decision to leave, Canada would have negotiated a buyout by now. Let him stay. We shouldn't spend more money on an OC that will put a lesser product on the field

He's dense enough to pay an assistant $10M.

Then why the issues? Is he impossible to work with? Why aren't other ocaches having the same issues?

Orgeron makes just over $3 million. LSU does have, and should be willing to spend, $2 million to get an OC if that's what it takes. Coaches are regularly making 5 and 6 million these days. LSU is a top 5 generating athletic department, jesus. People have been deluded by Alleva and Alexander into thinking LSU can't afford nice things.

Makes no difference if O isn't going to let Canada have full control.

I hear the exact same thing about O with staff and players....so once again how do we know both aren't at fault...why do you place all the blame on O without facts?

Best thing that could've happened yesterday is for Alleva to have told Orgeron, "We'll give Aranda a pay raise to keep him but that means Canada is staying and you will leave him the frick alone to run the offense."

Orgeron makes $3.5 + incentives. And Miles cost another $1.5 mil/year. So LSU is currently playing $5mil for head coaches. Not breaking the bank, but it's more than just over $3 mil for Orgeron.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is exactly what happened. And I agree it's probably the best possible outcome from yesterday's shite show

Relax moonbat, Steve Ensminger's name was mentioned in that press conference because he was the logical choice to call plays in the bowl game should Canada leave. As Canada has been looking for a head coaching job since the day coach O hired him. Nonetheless, coach O never had intentions to make him the permanent full-time OC nor does Ensminger want to be the full-time OC. Man, the stupidity on this hate coach O message board is astronomical.
