Who starts Vs ND?

White, Divinity, Taylor and Chaisson?

Tough to swallow the Thompson,Alexander and Key injuries.
ND is a good running team.

It's not that big of a deal IMO. This is basically the LB core that has been the mainstay all year.

Key was never really a big impact this year. Alexander finally started playing somewhat well late, but never took the next step. Thompson was electric at times, though. All that said, the young guys have had chances to get solid reps this year, so they should be ready. Hopefully Chiasson can minimize the mental mistakes he made early in the year. Overall, it will be good for the future for the young fellas to get some more run.

Just put White in there and tell him to play every LB position on the each play.

The biggest loss is Thompson. Aranda however is creative in how he blitzes White and Donte for that "speed" factor.

They hAve all had some significant playing time this year. They will be the starters for next season. I expect them to be prepared and play well with aranda having a over a month to coach them up on the nd gameplan. I think this will be the coming out party for divinity, phillips, and taylor. I'm really looking forward to seeing our linebackers for next year.

I saw someone mention that Jacoby Stevens was practicing in Corey Thompson's spot. Not sure if that's true. It would be an interesting choice. Stevens is the same size as Thompson and this may end up being a good place to work him into the lineup.

Notre Dame is a great running team. A 'non pareil' ground game with 17 yards per carry versus USC.

but what do I know?? I'm just a dotti old man

Taylor will start but T-Bob said on the morning show that Jacob Phillips is very unhappy with not playing. They need to get his arse on the field as well.

OLB- Divinity
MLB- White
MLB- Taylor
Buck- Chaisson and Thorton

We will see how good a month of rest and specific practice will help, but I do agree that the front 7, dline in particular, better pull their weight. Otherwise, ND will pound them into submission.
It will be what Miles would do to some teams except ND when he sat Fournette against them the last time. Dumbest called game I’ve watched in a long time.

Notre Dame was exposed in the last 4 games! Adams didn't run for 17 ypc on anyone during those last 4 games and he didn't run wild on UGA.

LSU WILL win the game 31-17.

Jacob Phillips is a true freshman. His ranking coming out of high school does not matter anymore. He’s going to have to earn his playing time by beating people out.
