Base runners are golden but it took a perfect throw to keep it from being 2nd and 3rd with 1 out.

PM has had bad base running teams for as long as he has been at LSU. that was nothing new...but still really bad baseball.

That was FAR from a perfect throw. It took an offline throw to make that just an easy out. With a perfect throw the third baseman would have taken a nap before Dugas got there. It was a terrible send, and there is no making an excuse for it.

It was the same play that Arkansas just had in top of inning , both teams obviously scouted that the CF can be run in - game plan coming in; our runner was going as soon as ball cleared the IF

It was not a perfect throw and not the same situation as Arkansas at all. Ark CF had the ball before he touched 2nd. Freaking stupid decision to try for third and a rally killer.
