Kim is a proven, HoF, 3x national championship winning coach.

WW is a bright up and comer who's done well with LSU basketball, albeit in a much more competitive sport than WBB.

What has he PROVEN? He has won (1) Regular season championship and got to the tournament twice.........but has brought about just as much negative publicity as positive publicity.

I personally like the guy and what he has accomplished, but let him earn his money on his current contract and lets play the wait and see game.

He has won an sec tourney title at LSU and taken us to 3 straight ncaa tourneys, let that sink in. We went to like 3 tourneys in the previous 12 years. He should absolutely ask for a raise.

She earned it at Baylor, as do other women’s BBall coaches with comparable salaries. Other universities have determined that winning at that level is worth the coach’s salary.

So why do you think she won’t be worth it here? The hire is also good protection for the LSU brand in this woke era.

If you don't want to watch it, then don't.

But to say it's a dumb hire is ridiculous when her resume' speaks for itself. 3 National Championships, 12 conference championships. People followed WBB when Pokey was here and they will start again now. This is a huge hire.

This is a huge hire. If you don't want to watch it, don't. Whatever she's going to be paid, does it affect you? How much are you contributing?

I like Will Wade

He also brought LSU into the limelight with his wire taped conversation which triggered massive negative publicity to LSU along with tarnishing the LSU brand. Some of you will never get that this has national exposure and embarrassing to many LSU fans. However he is a very good coach and has brought the LSU basketball team back to a competitive level.

A poster on this thread is correct WW lost his leverage and next season will be his 5th season as LSU coach and we will see how good he is with his own players and 4 years of recruits he signed to compete with.
