I say virtually unamimonsly True. ib 20 years he will be a top paid coach in the country in either the nba or ncaa and regarded as one of the best or the best we ever had.

True, we will compete for Elite 8 possibly final 4 next year, and possibly a national championship within the next 3 years. This guy has the IT factor and looks to be the next star college basketball coach in America. He was a home run hire for sure!

It will be close. I'm not a huge baseball guy, but I think Maineri deserves his just due. He's been very good for a while now

easily, the dude doesn't use LSU as a jumping block he could end up surpassing Dale Brown as the best basketball coach. I mean Brady took LSU to what 2 FF and a few Elite 8's and LSU fans can't stand him.

Depending on what you mean by “best”. If you mean successful PM will probably be Most successful over the next 3 years.
But Wade in a very short time has turned the perception of the program around if we give him the resources he needs, he is capable of building a consistent NCAA tourney program here.

He is right now. If you look at the turn around of this team that's a great coaching job. Don't care about wins and losses right now.
Basketball was tough to watch before but it's actually a very good product now.

He's coached 8 games. Yes he's great so far but unless he wins a national title, no. Paul Manieri.

Wade's records will be comparable to those of Coach Jones, with the exception of Jones' last year which was an anomaly.

If O is still here in the 3 years, then yes, Wade will be the best coach on campus. If O is gone, his replacement could be better depending on who comes in.
Also, we give Mainieri a lot of shite, but he really is a good coach. Certainly the best on campus currently. I have a feeling if he pull CWS win off in the next 3 years, most of the rant that bashes him no matter what will be sucking him off again.

Let’s pump the brakes a tad. We beat Houston last nights and not Duke. While I like what I have seen so far from the guy, LSU is still no where near a top team and Wade still very much unproven. imo
